Prologue
Pets. They fill our lives with joy and often trials. But we love them. I have two cats. And as anyone who has pets knows, when it comes to food, cat’s don’t share our human perceptions of ownership.
If the food is within reach, and I can get at it, it’s mine.
This for most people isn’t actually a problem. But for some pets, this is a real issue. One pet may need special medication which is mixed in with food, another may be on a diet. It’s not always possible to keep a 24hr watch or restrict their access to food.
